Paving and concrete contractors in Norwich

Choosing a paving contractor

Paving and concrete work is hard to fix once poured -- base preparation matters more than most homeowners expect.

• Ask specifically about base preparation (excavation depth, gravel base) -- skipping this is the most common cause of early cracking or settling.
• Get the quote in writing with material thickness/depth specified, not just square footage priced.
• Ask about curing time and what to avoid (weight, vehicles) during that window.
• Ask what warranty applies to cracking or settling, and for how long.
